Contedia needed a standardized backup architecture that could be deployed consistently across a diverse client base. Many manufacturing and construction customers operate on‑premises environments running database‑driven and custom applications, while also relying on cloud‑based SaaS platforms such as Microsoft 365. This hybrid reality requires cyber resilience that spans both traditional server workloads and modern collaboration services, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, and OneDrive.
Customer data volumes range from approximately 300–400 GB to 5–6 TB, with construction clients often managing 2–3 TB of CAD drawings and project files. Any data resilience solution had to scale efficiently while enabling fast recovery when downtime directly impacts operations.
