Frequently Asked Questions
I already use an Arcserve product and need help. Is this the right form?
For technical problems with an existing product, use Arcserve Support. The Support team can access the technical case information needed to investigate the issue. You can communicate with Arcserve Support via chat, email, or phone.
Reach out to your Arcserve representative for new products, pricing, additional deployments, account enquiries, or partnership questions. Alternatively, use the Contact Us form if you're not sure how to reach your representative.
Is there a free trial? Do I need to speak to Sales first?
What is the difference between Arcserve UDP, ShadowProtect, and Arcserve Backup?
Arcserve UDP provides unified backup, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and centralized protection across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
Arcserve ShadowProtect provides image-based backup and rapid recovery for Windows and Linux systems. Managed service providers (MSPs) and smaller IT environments use ShadowProtect for system recovery.
Arcserve Backup is designed for established enterprise backup environments, including disk- and tape-based data protection.
If an older product such as Backup Exec, Veritas, or a StorageCraft solution is being replaced, mention that detail in the Contact Us form so the enquiry can be directed to the appropriate specialist.
I only need pricing or a quote. What is the fastest option?
Some Arcserve products can be purchased directly through the Arcserve e-store (regional restrictions apply), including selected Arcserve UDP, immutable storage, and Arcserve SaaS Backup offerings. Visit the How to Buy page to explore available purchasing options.
For enterprise, capacity-based, socket-based, or customized requirements, submit the Contact Us form and include approximate environment size, number of servers or virtual machines (VMs), amount of data to protect, and required workloads. These details help Arcserve prepare a relevant response faster.
I need a reseller, distributor, or Arcserve partner in my country. What should I do?
Arcserve works through a global network of resellers and distribution partners.
Submit the Contact Us form and include country, company type, product of interest, and organization type, such as end customer, MSP, reseller, or distributor. Arcserve will direct the enquiry to an appropriate partner or Arcserve representative.
I’m applying for a job. Where should I go?
Please visit the Arcserve Careers page to explore current career opportunities.
