What Is Granular Recovery?
Granular recovery restores individual data elements from backup data without requiring recovery of the full system, application, or backup image that contains them.
A recovery operation may target specific files, folders, emails, database records, application objects, or other discrete items rather than restoring an entire workload. This allows organizations to address narrowly scoped recovery needs without affecting larger systems.
