Chris Babel

Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer, Chris is responsible for driving Arcserve's overall strategy, growth, and market leadership in data protection and management solutions.

With a proven track record of leading companies through significant expansion and transformation, Chris brings over two decades of experience in the technology industry to his role at Arcserve. Prior to joining Arcserve, he served as CEO of TrustArc from 2010 to 2023, successfully guiding the organization to become a global leader in privacy compliance and risk management. His unique combination of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership experience positions him to guide Arcserve into its next phase of growth and innovation.

Chris is a recognized thought leader in the privacy and security space, regularly speaking at major industry events and sharing his expertise with leading publications. Before his tenure at TrustArc, he spent over a decade building online trust in the security industry, holding senior leadership roles at VeriSign, where he drove growth through strategic initiatives, product launches, and acquisitions.

Chris holds a BA in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Economics with Highest Distinction from Northwestern University.

Michael Lin

Executive Vice President, Product and Technology

As Executive Vice President of Product and Technology, Michael leads Arcserve's product portfolio, focusing on strategic planning, product strategy, pricing, and product roadmaps.

With over fifteen years of experience aligning product vision with market, customer, and company goals, Michael brings a data-driven approach to leading the product and UX teams. He leverages customer insights and analytics to inform long-term business decisions and product development.

Prior to joining Arcserve, Michael served as Chief Product Officer at TrustArc, where he spearheaded the development of disruptive product offerings. His leadership led to measurable results, including multi-million-dollar revenue growth and increased customer satisfaction and retention rates. Other leadership positions included executive roles at Qualys, Aerohive Networks, Symantec and Verisign.

Michael holds a BA in Economics with Honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz. His extensive experience positions him to drive innovation and deliver impactful product solutions at Arcserve.

Armando Dacal

Executive Vice President, Sales

As the Executive Vice President of Sales at Arcserve, Armando is responsible for Arcserve’s global sales strategy. He leads the international sales teams to maximize revenue and drive success through strong partnerships.

Armando brings more than 20 years of sales-leadership experience in cybersecurity, having led high-performing customer- and partner-facing organizations for successful technology vendors. He has a strong track record of leading successful commercial and operational teams around the globe.

Prior to joining Arcserve, Armando served as Group Vice President, APJ, for DigiCert, where he enhanced the company’s profile across the Asia-Pacific and Japan. Before DigiCert, he held key go-to-market roles with other leading cybersecurity vendors, including Palo Alto Networks, Tanium, VeriSign, and Symantec.

Armando holds a BA in International Economics from San Diego State University.

Penny Gralewski

Vice President, Marketing

As Vice President of Marketing at Arcserve, Penny leads global marketing initiatives, including product messaging, partner marketing, demand generation, brand, and customer engagement.

With 20 years of software marketing experience, she has driven revenue across the enterprise IT market, including progressive roles at Commvault, Citrix, and Flexera, as well as leadership roles at startups. In the reseller market, she has led new product launches, market growth, and successful campaigns across VAR, MSP, distribution, and technology alliance channels. She is a frequent guest contributor for industry events, blogs, and webinars.

Penny earned a Master of Business Administration and a Leadership Certificate from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, and at Loras College earned Bachelor of Arts degrees with honors in English and Journalism.

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Drew Hamer, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at Arcserve is a strategic, operational, and innovative finance leader who has partnered with executive teams to successfully scale global, high-growth VC-backed, and publicly held companies in the SaaS, software, high-tech, cybersecurity, and internet industries.

Drew leads Arcserve’s global finance function, focusing on driving fiscally prudent business scalability through people, processes, and systems.

Before joining Arcserve, he held executive financial leadership roles at Palladyne AI, Velodyne Lidar Inc., Anomali, Sungevity, and ON24.

Drew earned a Master of Accountancy at Florida International University – College of Business and a Bachelor of Science, Accounting, at Binghamton University.
