As highlighted in the Arcserve year-end training blog summarizing new modern data protection proficiency courses, 2025 was an exceptional year for learning at Arcserve. It was defined by consistency, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to empowering partners and customers through structured, high-quality education.
The Arcserve Academy team worked tirelessly throughout the year to provide our customers and partners with up-to-date, relevant training, releasing nearly one course per month. This steady cadence of new learning opportunities had a significant impact: 2025 saw a remarkable 63% increase in the number of certifications issued compared to 2024. This growth clearly reflects the strong engagement of our learning community and the relevance of the content delivered.
One of the major contributors to this success was the 2025 Arcserve product release cadence. As new and enhanced data protection and cyber resilience solutions reached the market, the Academy team was ready with corresponding certification courses. This ensured that customers and partners were always equipped with the knowledge needed to succeed.
The flagship solution, Arcserve UDP, continued to play a central role in the learning ecosystem. Arcserve UDP certifications alone accounted for 24% of the total certifications issued in 2025, reinforcing its importance in the portfolio and its widespread adoption across the partner and customer ecosystems.
Another defining highlight of 2025 was the strategic focus on cyber resilience. The introduction of Arcserve Cloud Cyber Resilient Storage and Arcserve Cyber Resilient Storage proved to be a timely and impactful milestone.
Although the Academy courses for these cyber resilience solutions were released midway through the year, they still accounted for 23% of the total certification volume in 2025. This strong adoption underscores just how critical Cyber Resilient Storage solutions have become for Arcserve customers and partners in today’s threat landscape.
The message is clear: cyber resilience is no longer optional, and the demand for skills in this area continues to grow rapidly.
Arcserve Academy is entering 2026 with confidence and excitement, as more IT leaders have annual goals to improve their knowledge of data resilience, best practices, and technical skill sets.
The Academy team recently launched the first course for the year: Arcserve Certified Associate – Arcserve SaaS Backup (Confluence and Jira Cloud)
This marks the beginning of an expanded learning journey across the Arcserve SaaS portfolio, as support for new SaaS applications such as Azure DevOps and Power BI is added to the already robust SaaS data protection portfolio. Arcserve SaaS Backup now supports data protection for many critical SaaS applications like Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and more. IT leaders are quickly taking this new training course to learn comprehensive SaaS backup best practices.
In February 2026, we are set to kick off a structured learning path for Arcserve UDP with: Arcserve Certified Associate – UDP Agent (Standalone).
Looking further ahead into Q2, another related course will be released: Arcserve Certified Associate – Arcserve UDP Cloud Console.
Additionally, learners can expect new associate-level courses on Arcserve RHA and Arcserve Backup to launch in the first half of 2026.
