Presales Consultant

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for positioning and demonstrating Arcserve portfolio solutions to our partners and clients. This is accomplished by having a solid understanding of our products and solutions as well as IT infrastructure. This is a customer centric and solution orientated role where engagement and interlock with channel partners, new prospects, and existing customers are essential to the role.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Presenting and demonstrating Arcserve solutions online and in person to both Partner and End Users alike
  • Providing technical and business support to our partner community
  • Internal and External education and training seminars
  • Lead proof of concept deployments and installs alongside new clients in person and via webex
  • Creating and presenting solution documents
  • Updating and revising technical training material
  • Engage with Product Management to discuss real time feedback on market and product trends
  • Analyze enhancement requests and requirements from customers for internal discussion and development
  • Onsite technical thought leader at our global headquarters
  • Regular technical trainings, both local and remotely for our sales professionals
  • Collaborate with territory account managers to expand channel presence and customer relationships
  • Develop a solid understanding of Arcserve products and stay up to speed on industry trends, competitive developments, and internal portfolio developments
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Technology related field or equivalent work experience to meet the essential functions of the position
  • 2-5 years of experience in presales
  • Fluent English

  • Knowledge/Experiences with IT Infrastructure: Data Protection, Security, Storage
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Ability to create simple and easy-to-understand documents
  • Experience working alongside Channel Partners
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Desire to work in a high-energy sales environment
  • Proven track record of building strong professional relationships

Travel Requirement: Yes, up to 50% International
