CA ARCserve Backup is an evolutionary data protection software product. It delivers not only the traditional fare of tape backup software functionality, but also an impressive set of additional features and functions, including integrated storage resource management, block level de-duplication, and virtual tape.
The product includes two different methods for facilitating the backup of data associated with virtual server environments. Validation testing of CA ARCserve Backup r12.5 was undertaken at TPI Technologies. This document highlights the results of those tests.
