The Business: Founded in the late 1990's, Milan Based Company Praesidium offers marketing & sales consulting and services primarily to multinationals, with a particular focus on channel relations.

The Challenge: Since Praesidium provides end-to-end management of marketing and sales processes and functions, all data relating to client activities are hosted and managed on its own IT systems. To safeguard business and maintain quality of service, everything must be online and available at all times.
 
The Solution: A technical incident caused Praesidium to go offline and the company virtually came to a standstill. The outcome of the incident was the decision to implement a solution that could guarantee real  continuity both in house and for external services. The choice fell on two products, CA ARCserve High Availability and CA ARCserve Replication.
