CA ARCserve^® D2D is a disk-based backup product designed to provide the perfect combination of fast, simple and reliable protection and recovery for all of your business information. CA ARCserve D2D gives you more control over your evolving infrastructure, applications and data through a “set it and forget it” solution that simplifies protecting and recovering your data. The single snapshot backup allows you to restore files, volumes, applications, individual emails, or the entire system to any server in both physical and virtual environments from local disk or off-premise cloud storage. Meet your internal SLAs for recovery time and save money with the only product that has Bare Metal Restore to dissimilar hardware and block-level infinite incremental backups (I2 backups) in one complete package. Patent-pending I2 backup technology means you only need to perform 1 full backup with incremental only from then on saving time, storage space, and network bandwidth over other backup products. • CA ARCSERVE^®CENTRAL PROTECTION MANAGER provides a single web-based console for centralized view and management of all CA ARCserve D2D protected servers and workstations. It includes automated AD discovery, remote deployment, simplified policy-based administration, SRM reporting, status, grouping, search/restore, basic workflow, event logging, and more to simplify management and recovery of servers and workstations across your environment.
• CA ARCSERVE^®CENTRAL REPORTING provides a single web-based console for centralized view and management of all CA ARCserve D2D protected servers and workstations. It includes automated AD discovery, remote deployment, simplified policy-based administration, SRM reporting, status, grouping, search/restore, basic workflow, event logging, and more to simplify management and recovery of servers and workstations across your environment.
• CA ARCSERVE^®CENTRAL HOST-BASED VM BACKUP uses CA ARCserve D2D to protect a single VMware host environment, performing backup of all VMs via a single-pass backup without having to install ARCserve D2D inside each VM. It uses the vSphere Change Block Tracking (CBT) feature to capture just the changes since the last backup and enables granular recovery of files and folders from each individual VM, and also allows restore of supported applications running within a VM, simplifying protection and recovery of your virtual servers.
• CA ARCSERVE^®CENTRAL VIRTUAL STANDBY makes CA ARCserve D2D backups available to run like regular VMware Virtual Disk (vmdk) or Microsoft Virtual Hard Disk (vhd) virtual servers. It automatically pre-registers each recovery point (including

CA ARCserve^® Replication, formerly known as CA XOsoft™ Replication, provides an easy way to migrate or copy backups and data offsite to a remote location including a public or private cloud for disaster recovery. It enables quick and easy data consolidation between remote offices and a central site for secure backup and archiving. Use it to migrate systems and data from physical to virtual servers and from old servers to new servers without disrupting the work environment. Its data rewind feature combined with continuous replication offers continuous data protection (CDP) to complement any backup or snapshot solution, helping speed recovery and minimize data loss. CA ARCserve Replication works with both physical and virtual servers and includes automated non-disruptive recovery testing.

CA ARCserve^® High Availability, formerly known as CA XOsoft™ High Availability provides system, application and data high availability along with continuous data protection to help minimize system downtime and data loss. CA ARCserve High Availability includes all CA ARCserve Replication features and adds real-time monitoring, automatic and push-button failover and push-button failback. Monitoring works at both server and application levels so unlike other high availability solutions, CA ARCserve High Availability responds to issues at the application level, does not require a cluster architecture, and protects data on DAS, NAS and SAN.It also provides automated non-disruptive recovery testing to ensure your failover systems and data are ready when you need them. You can deploy your failover resources on-premise, off-premise and in the cloud, or any combination. Both CA ARCserve Replication and CA ARCserve High Availability include a true, unified management console across all operating systems, virtualization platforms and applications.
